Our products are used to:

Maciej joined QED Software at the turn of 2016 and 2017 to lead the Grail project which enabled the company to enter a new sector of game development and video game AI. Since then he has been involved in many projects as a scientific manager, sometimes providing a high-level vision and sometimes serving as a developer on the front-line. He received a Ph.D. degree, with distinctions, in 2015 from Systems Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences. When pursuing the degree, he acted as a chairman of the PhD students council and represented the Institute. He was also a visiting researcher at the University of New South Wales, Australia and lived there for a year. Prior to QED Software, he worked as a lead software engineer in a variety of innovative commercial projects in CareIT/Ascron and as an assistant professor in Systems Research Institute. He has worked as an associate teacher at the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Sciences, Warsaw University of Technology. Maciej is a member of IEEE and The Polish Information Processing Society. He co-authored 25+ scientific publications and gave various talks on both scientific and industrial conferences, mostly related to Artificial Intelligence and Games. In 2012 and 2014, his program, named MINI-Player, reached the quarter-final level in the International General Game Playing Championships held by Stanford University. He is a multilingual programmer and technology agnostic. In the spare time, Maciej likes having interesting conversations, playing (an electric guitar) and listening to music, driving fast cars, traveling and games of all sorts.
